One of the largest projects in Victoria's Big Housing Build, Lusher Road is "the redevelopment of an existing industrial site into a social housing complex." It responds to the shortage of social and affordable housing, delivering high-quality homes for disadvantaged residents along with support services for people experiencing homelessness, abuse, illness and disability, and supporting job creation.
Apartments are arranged around a central landscaped courtyard with rooftop terraces as further communal space.
