A master plan reimagining a series of former car-parts manufacturing factories on a site of over 13,000 m² with significant street frontages, 150 m from the Maribyrnong River. It mixes townhouses, apartments, attached houses and affordable housing with commercial space along Whitehall Street.
A key goal was to "provide a new mid-block pedestrian link through the site," connecting the Arts precinct to existing residential streets.
Key facts
- Site over 13,000 m²
- 280+ dwellings: townhouses, apartments, attached houses, affordable housing
- 2,500 m² commercial space
- 300 car spaces concealed beneath podium apartments
- New mid-block pedestrian link connecting the Arts precinct to residential streets
